Very haunting lines. I have seen the videos of hurricane and it's very, very terrifying. To experience it first hand must be so scary and stressful. I feel like Nature unleashes its wrath and will decimate everything. But just like you said in the last stanza, it all passes and a new dawn arises. And just like that we carry on with our lives again.

Yet the last line "one day..." did petrify me. It gave me a feeling that it might or mightn't pass.
